The Pelican Seafood Bar and Grill

Its always an enjoyable thing to do to enjoy a drink or dinner at One Fullerton where you can sit by the river admiring the scenery. We were lucky as the weather was cooling in the evening when we visited The Pelican.

We wanted to try the Pelican Platter one day but we were too full from some desserts in the afternoon and thus give it a miss and had something light instead.

Complimentary Bread

The bread was served hot with butter provided separately. I liked it when the bread are served warm.

Crumbled Bleu Cobb

I am not a salad lover but this is really one of the better ones that I have had before. Portion is consider small if you are just going to have that as your main. There are avocados, crispy chopped bacon, chopped tomatoes, eggs, chunks of blue cheese. Its very refreshing and the taste of the blue cheese gave the salad a salty taste which made it less boring.

Price: $14

Rhode Island Fried Squid

This is different from the usual calamari that we eat where squid rings are served. The squids are cut into bigger pieces which I personally prefer. It is topped with banana peppers which are cut and sliced into small pieces, green olives and capers.

Price: $18

Atlantic Linguini and Clams

This is a little spicy as chilli flakes have been added. So for those of you who do not take spicy food at all, you should skip this. It is cooked with white wine and the taste of the garlic give the pasta a stronger taste which kind of cover the taste of the white wine.

Price: $32

The downside about this place is not the food but the lighting when you are seated outdoor. Its quite dark that we can hardly see what we are eating and also because we are seated closer to the river side, it is difficult to get someone to attend to us when we needed to take our order or ask for the bill.
