Nook

A fun and interactive way to prepare your own meal! We had our lunch at Nook and it was not very crowded at the point of time when we reach. And we were excited to get started when we look saw people around having so much fun making their own pancakes.

They do come with ala carte menu for pre made pancakes where you need not cook them yourself. But of course we chose the DIY pancake with 2 flavors. There is also a choice for just 1 flavor if you do not wish to have too much of the pancakes. It comes in about 5 flavors which comes in different colors too.

The pan for you to cook your pancakes

Our original buttermilk and pandan pancake batter. We are allowed to choose 3 toppings which we chose peanut butter, chocolate sauce and blueberries. They will come with butter and maple syrup. The toppings look really little and I was tempted to order for more. Fortunately I did not, because we weren't able to finish all the toppings eventually. It was too filling for just the 2 of us.

Ok i can't survive a proper meal with no salty food so I ordered ham and hash brown as additional toppings which cost $3 and $4 respectively. A little overprice for just 3 pieces of honey baked ham and a piece of a triangular hash brown.

And so the fun begins...

So you can basically create any shapes or thing that you want with the tubes of pancakes battle. It is overall a really fun experience. The taste of the pancake is great at well as you can cook them in the way that the pancake is not too thick where it becomes too rich. We made it thin which gives a crispy top coat. The pandan is really nice and it is a must try if you love pandan as much as we do!
