Patisserie G

A small and cozy place for a sweet bite and a cuppa. I look the exterior of the shop. The sign board is plain and simple with just a "G". I guess G is the initials for Gwen Lim, the owner of Patisserie G. It was opened in November 2012.

Lychee Rose and Salted Caramel macaroons

 

I love the salted caramel flavour as it was sweet and salty at the same time. It is also richer as compare to the ones sold in Canele. I would prefer this. However the size of the macaroons seem to be a little smaller and the price is also abit steep.

Saint-Honore

the description given to this beautiful dessert is "Choux puffs, light caramel glaze, piped with chantilly cream, on a sable base."

It is beautifully presented and every part of it just goes well with one another. It is actually a bit small and $8 is again kind of overprice in my own opinion.
